Press release from PBR headquarters:
PUEBLO, Colo. (September 14, 2010) - The Professional Bull Riders announced on Tuesday that disciplinary action has been taken against the four judges who worked the elite Built Ford Tough Series event in Greenville, S.C. Due to the inconsistencies in judging this past weekend, the four will not work any remaining events in 2010. “We’re going to explore ways to improve our judging process, including the implementation of a new training program for all judges,” said Senior Vice President of Competition Jay Daugherty. “We have the best bull riders in the world and we want our officiating to be of the same caliber.”
