Georgia Bulls

First of all, give it up for Shane Proctor, who got off T18 Chance (Teague) at 6+ seconds because he thought the bull was hurt.  He was.  Mr. Teague has said elsewhere that the vet thinks that Chance pulled a muscle in his back, but appears to be recovering well.  Not everyone would have gotten off a bull that was surely going to be a re-ride.  And in an ideal world, a re-ride is exactly what Proctor would have gotten.

On top of that, hats off to J.W. Hart for calling it right.  (In the face of some heavy comments by Craig Hummer about what a mistake Proctor had made.)

High Scored Bulls:

I'm a Gangster - 45.75  (Jeff Robinson)
Movin' On - 45.25  (Frontier Rodeo)
King Lopez - 45  (K Bar C)
Immigrant - 45  (Frontier Rodeo)
Bahada - 45  (K&K Cattle)

Pedigree info:

614 Hard Rock (Davis / Luna) is a Spider Monkey son, which makes him an A6 grandson on the sire side.  On the dam side he goes back to Rooster.  (Hard Rock bucked off Valdiron de Oliveira in 2.75 and Kody Lostroh in 3.47 in Duluth.)

T18 Chance is a Copper Top son out of Page 718.  The grandsire on both sides is A6.  The granddams are both Page cows.  415-199 on the sire side and 418 on the dam side.

601 Off the Hook (Davis) is a Houdini son out of a Ravenscroft dam.  Grandsire on the dam side is Whitewater, on the sire side White Sports Coat.

924B Immigrant (Frontier Rodeo) is a Houdini grandson.

7451 Rusty Waters (Teague) is a grandson of Whitewater on the sire side and a grandson of Neon Nights on the dam side.

73/4 Flashpoint (Teague) is a Little Yellow Jacket son out of a Teague cow.

6406 Air Jack (Teague) is a Neon Nights son out of a Rafter F cow.  This makes him a Gunslinger grandson on the sire side.

5209 Cut Loose (Teague) is also a Neon Nights son.  He's a grandson of Kish's Cash on the dam side.

Pretty:

691 Superfreak (Davis & Canter) is a dapple gray bull and was the prettiest bull out there.

6220 RFD HD (Teague), a black bull with a white belly and leggings, came in a close second.

Frontier Rodeo gets a nod for using red flanks.  Every bull looks better with a red flank on him.

Enormous:

528 Hou's Ya Daddy (Davis).  Not much to say.  Huge.  I'll see if I can get a weight for him.
