In contrast to the ten rides, there were 8 bulls with scores in the 44 point range, 4 bulls in the 45 point range, and one each in the 46, 47, and 48 point range.
I was surprised at the 48.5 score for Bushwacker. Thought it was high compared to what he received for better outs earlier in the year. But for raw power, he beat Asteroid last night. On the other hand, Asteroid didn't have half a chance to show what he can do, and there was a hint of "Let's make sure Bushwacker gets this title." And Cord McCoy? Did he do way better than you thought he would on Bushwacker, or what?
As for predictions...Cody Campbell? Who predicted that? I buy you a cup of coffee.
I'm tired. Three nights of bull riding are wonderful, and today I woke up and thought: I get to watch again tonight! But as the days go by, the fan side of me is starting to win out over the reporter side.
