Bulls & Bloodlines: Atlanta

You know I'm a bull person and I usually root for them over the riders, but this time I was with pretty much everyone else, in a 6-second state of excitement that maybe Stormy Wing was going to ride Asteroid.  He was doing something no one had ever had time to do before, which was work his outside leg.  It wasn't just prayer and good luck that kept him on that long.  If I was a rider I would be watching the tape trying to figure it out.

High-scored bulls:

781 Asteroid  -  46.50  -  Circle T

718 Rango  -  45  -  Jeff Robinson

708 Delco  -  44.50  -  Jeff Robinson

Pedigree Notes:

632 South Point (K Bar C/Strickland/Folds):  I don't think you too often you see a full-blooded Kish bull on the east coast, but this one is, both sides, all the way back to Too Legit on the sire side.

61 BigTexTrailers.com (AKA Moon) (Jeff Robinson):  By a Gunslinger son (Gunfighter) out of a Guidry cow.

521 Who Dat (K Bar C) is a grandson of Baby Brother, who is a son of Wrangler Rivet.  Interesting note:  Paycheck, Deja Blue Emu, and Pretty Boy also all go back to Wrangler Rivet.

603 Gypsy Boots (formerly known as Penguin) is a Wilfong bull (BW 72/2 over BW 341).  Grandsire on both sides is Wilfong's The Darkness.  The granddam is a Broke Back V daughter.

7473 Trickster's sire - LH124 - is a Trick or Treat son out of a Gunslinger daughter.

7312 Whitewater Trouble is a Whitewater grandson.  (Teague).
