Broadcast bull talk:

Pretty good.  Bull scores posted nicely, lots of bucking pattern analysis.

Pedigree facts for a few of the high-scoring bulls:

52U Midnight Move is a Smooth Move son out of a Super Dave daughter. (Page)

23S Stretch Armstrong is a Stretch son (Broke Back V out of Page breeding) out of a Shorty daughter. (Page)

13T Little Snake is a Mudslinger son (Page 01/Broke Back V daughter) out of a Hotel California daughter.

325 Hot Stuff is a Mudslinger son (Page 01/Broke Back V daughter) out of a Broke Back V daughter. (Page)

-8 Bring It is a Broke Back V grandson on the sire side. (Dakota Rodeo/Berger/Struve)

As usual, let me know if I've misrepresented anyone.

Making the Finals roster:

Whiskey's Rebel, Lil' Red Kat, Yellow Jacket Jr, and Hot Stuff passed Cody Lambert's test this weekend and will be in the Finals.  Commotion, Pearl Snap, and Wake Up Call did not make the cut.  The Situation's status has yet to be determined.

But really, the bulls have it so much better than the riders do.  No pressure for them.  They don't care if they make the Finals.  They don't even know what the Finals are.  Probably they'd just as soon go home and eat grass.

And speaking of Whiskey's Rebel

Oh man!  They've haloed him!  Yep, the big guy who almost made it over the top of the chute two weeks ago is wearing a ring around his horns.  This bull has a really interesting face and from a purely aesthetic point of view, the halo must go.  I vote no halo, and I am prepared to occupy Las Vegas.
