Bull Power: Sacramento

Some interesting bulls are in the pen this weekend. The event being all the way across the country from last weekend's event in New York City means that we're not seeing a lot of the "big" names we saw last weekend. Can't rightly get a bull that far in that amount of time. Cody Lambert had to do some staging to get these two events done and get good bulls at both of them, that's for sure.

But the good news is that we've got a lot of D&H Page bulls, a bunch of Jeff Robinson bulls, and several each from California breeders Flying U/Cindy Rosser, Don Kish, and Julio Moreno.  Brendon Clark's bull Vegemite is there as well.  (Co-owned with Hollister Bucking Bulls and also based in California.)

Some good bulls to watch:

  • Bushwacker (of course), and fellow five-year-old Moon, both top bulls on the Classic tour last year. You'll also see some other 2010 Classic bulls:  Cash Money, Junior, Little Brother, Magic, Power Line, Wild Child, and Wish This.
  • 202 Bring It and Hawaiian Ivory from Cindy Rosser/Flying U.
  • Gunpowder & Lead and Moebandy.com, two standouts from last year's Finals.
  • A few solid favorites - Commotion and Silver Wings - both from D&H Cattle - and 1513 Skyhawk Cut-a-Rug (Jeff Robinson).
  • The Naccarato bull Squaw's Dream (slated for Wesley Lourenco in Round One).

Which bull am I featuring this weekend? Check it out in the sidebar.
