Seattle Bulls

Muley count:

Eight.  The northwest usually brings them out, because it’s Katich country, and Chad Berger has quite a few in his herd, too.  When one big muley with a hump came out of the chute, I knew he was a Katich-bred bull before I even checked.  He was K31 Bearcat, and he got the best of Valdiron.

High-scored rides:

Jenkins on Unabomber – 90.75
Palermo on The Situation – 90.75
Cates on Wild & Out – 90
Kingsolver on My Space – 89.50
Palermo on Chick’N Fried - 89.25
Jenkins on King of Hearts – 89.25

High-marked bulls:

433 Big Tex – 45.25 (Dakota Rodeo/Berger/Struve)
W1 Bucky – 45.25 (Wentz)
-8 Bring It – 45 (Dakota Rodeo/Berger/Struve)
K14 Yellowjacket Jr. – 45  (Dakota Rodeo/Berger/Struve)

Pedigrees:

Usually in the course of an event, I notice a few bulls I want to know more about.  Here are two:

414 Water Canal (Julio Moreno) is a Bring It son, a Houdini grandson (sire side) and a Whitewater grandson (dam side), all of which makes him a great-grandson of both White Sports Coat and Kish’s Wolfman.

25/5 Flip Side (Robinson/Cappello)  is a Bone Collector son, out of Page 108/020, a Roughwater daughter.  Another Bone Collector son: 05 Bones.

Keep scrolling down for the rides of the night.
